The World Airports Map (EN/FR/日本語)
Maps are part of our life as pilots. I have always been looking for a map showing all the destinations I could fly to. Nowadays, this has become possible thanks to our collaboration with “21 Maps”. In April 2020, we met and quickly agreed on collaborating and sharing our knowledge. Designed, conceived and printed in France in Toulouse, the home of aeronautics. We drew our inspiration from the lights of a night cockpit. Gold, ocean, lights, the map seems to sparkle in the night. The map features the most important commercial airports in the world with their traffic by millions of passengers per year (2019). We have also included many safety airports used by most airliners on their routes. In addition to this, you have the rank of the most dangerous airports, the longest runways, the highest airfields and the most beautiful airports in the world. The chart colors were inspired by a night Cockpit
Les cartes font partie de notre vie de pilotes. J'ai toujours cherché une carte montrant toutes les destinations vers lesquelles je pouvais voler. C’est aujourd’hui devenu possible grâce à notre collaboration avec «21 Maps». En mars 2020, nous nous sommes rencontrés et avons rapidement convenu de collaborer et de partager notre expérience. Cette carte a été conçue, et sera imprimée en France à Toulouse, berceau de l'aéronautique. Nous nous sommes inspirés des lumières d'un cockpit de nuit. Or, océan, lumières, la carte semble scintiller dans la nuit. La carte présente les aéroports commerciaux les plus importants du monde avec leur trafic par millions de passagers par an (2019). Nous avons également inclus de nombreux aéroports de déroutement utilisés par la plupart des compagnies sur leurs routes. En outre, vous avez le rang des aéroports les plus dangereux, des pistes les plus longues, des aérodromes les plus hauts et des plus beaux aéroports du monde.
